Dividend Tax Calculator
Calculate tax on dividend income
1
Enter salary, rental income, etc. (non-dividend income)
Include all your taxable income that isn't dividends: employment salary, self-employment profits, rental income (after allowable expenses), pension income, and interest above your savings allowance. This determines which tax bands your dividends fall into. Don't include ISA income, the first £1,000 of savings interest, or tax-free state benefits.

Total dividends received in the tax year
Enter all dividends you've received or expect to receive in the tax year (6 April to 5 April). This includes dividends from UK and overseas companies, investment trusts, and unit trusts. Don't include dividends received within ISAs or pensions - these are tax-free. Check your dividend vouchers or statements for the amounts. If you're a company director, this includes dividends from your own limited company.
